Linda Adler-Kassner teaches Writing 2 ("Academic Writing," aka first-year composition), courses associated with public engagement and public discourse, and graduate courses in composition theory and pedagogy. She also works with faculty across the campus (and around the country) on research-based teaching, learning, and assessment.


Linda Adler-Kassner is author, co-author, or co-editor of nine books and many articles and book chapters. Her most recent book, co-edited with Elizabeth Wardle, is Naming What We Know: Threshold Concepts of Writing Studies. She is currently serving as Interim Co-Dean of Undergraduate Education. Through December 2017, she is the Chair of the Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC), the world's largest organization representing postsecondary writing faculty.
