The Writing Program has received a significant gift from Dr. Charles Bazerman to fund the Bazerman Faculty Fellowship, or BFF.

The BFF will provide funding for one continuing lecturer each year to undertake professional development activity related to her or his teaching in the Writing Program and to the field of writing studies. The fellowship will be awarded via a competitive application process.

Dr. Charles Bazerman is Professor of Education at UC Santa Barbara and a leading researcher in the field of writing studies. He is a long-time supporter of the Writing Program, its mission, and its faculty.
