Nick Tingle taught writing at UCSB since 1980. He is the author of Self Development and College Writing, NCTE, 2004. He has published on writing pedagogy most especially in College English, JAC,Composition Studies, The Journal of Psychoanalytic Studies, and Studies in Psychoanalytic Theory.
