On your syllabus
  • "The drop deadline (via Gold) for this course is 4:45 PM, Friday, April 6th, 2007." Please make this statement, with the appropriate date, extremely prominent on the first page of your syllabus.
    (Note to Lecturers: This deadline does not apply to upper-division courses.)
  • Note to disabled students:
    "If you are a student with a disability and would like to discuss special accommodations, please contact me ...(during office hours, after class, etc)."
  • E-mail address and office location (Lecturers please include phone number)
  • "893-2613, message only" (let students know they cannot reach you directly at this number)
  • "Drop box located in front of South Hall 1520, or slide materials under the door after hours"
