After receiving his Ph.D. in English from Case Western University, Jonathan Scott Weedon is joining the Writing Program at UCSB.

Scott's research interests include engineering communication, the rhetoric of science and technology, design studies, rhetorical theory and history, composition, and professional and technical communication. He teaches writing courses for engineers, techinical writers, and health professionals, and cares entirely too much about Baltimore sports.
