A new book by Janet Mizrahi, Writing for the Workplace: Business Communication for Professionals, has been published by Business Expert Press.
This is Mizrahi’s third book for the publisher. She is also the author of Fundamentals of Writing for Marketing and Public Relations and Web Content: A Writer’s Guide.
The book addresses the needs of both students entering the workforce and business professionals looking to improve their written communication. It has guides to compose typical workplace documents, from effective e-mails and convincing reports to winning presentations and engaging resumes.
Mizrahi said that she decided to work with Business Expert Press after hearing students complain about the high cost of textbooks, knowing that the publisher’s books are reasonably priced.
A lecturer in the Writing Program, Mizrahi teaches a variety of classes, from writing for journalism to writing for the health care professionals.
