Each year the Writing Program organizes a writing competition for the best professional collaborative student writing. The competition period begins in Spring quarter and ends in Winter quarter the following year. The professional writing awards are supported through the generosity of the Schwartz Family.

The winners are awarded in three categories: Collaborative Business Projects, Collaborative Projects for Sustainability, and Smaller Collaborative Projects. Instructors of the courses submit the best projects of each quarter to the competition. Instructors will explain the competition criteria in their classes. This year’s awards ceremony will be held on May 30, at Loma Pelona Center.
