Palm Trees

"Palm Trees" combines four poems that have one thing in common: they are about palm trees. The underlying meaning of my project is not necessarily based on the poems themselves but rather on their juxtaposition with one another and the other components of my piece. The meaning is "contextuality": the same line from a particular poem can assume several different meanings based on the lines that come before and after it (which is controlled by the viewer) as well as the sound and image that appear with it.
