Susan McLeod is Research Professor of Writing, UCSB Writing Program Distinguished Scholar, and the former Director of the Writing Program. Her publications include such books as Writing Program Administration (A Reference Guide), Composing A Community: A History of Writing Across the Curriculum, Strengthening Programs for Writing across the Curriculum, Writing Across the Curriculum: A Guide to Developing Programs, Writing about the World (a multi-cultural textbook for composition), Notes on the Heart: Affective Issues in the Writing Classroom, and WAC for the New Millennium: Strategies for Continuing Writing Across the Curriculum Programs, as well as numerous articles on writing across the curriculum and writing program administration. She is the editor of the Perspectives on Writing book series (http://wac.colostate.edu/books/perspectives.cfm) and co-editor of the Writing Program Administration book series with Parlor Press (http://www.parlorpress.com/wpa.html).
