...Heidi Emmerling, RDH, Ph.D. teaches Writing 1, 2, 50, 105 MW, 109 ST, and 109HP. A dental hygienist for more than twenty years, one of Dr. Emmerling's primary interests involves empowering current and future health professionals through writing. Her other interests include composition at all levels, including developmental, first-year, and advanced courses; language and gender; literary non-fiction; language and science; medical rhetoric/writing; professional editing and publishing; and technical communication. Dr. Emmerling has published numerous academic, professional, and consumer articles and continues to serve as editor for an Employee Assistance Program newsletter Workplace Solutions with more than 20,000 readers. |
