If you are in one of Christopher Dean's classes at UCSB, then you are at a "home" you have in cyberspace to find out answers to your questions about his classes. The FAQs will start with the beginning of the semester, and they will continue to grow as classes progress. • Question: Who is this "Chris" guy, and why should I trust him to teach me?
  • Answer: I'm a 13 year veteran of teaching (middle school through graduate school), and I actually have a degree in Composition (the study of writing) from the University of New Hampshire. I've been teaching college writing courses for nine, going on ten years. If you want to learn more about me, my qualifications, my likes and my dislikes, then check out the "Information About Christopher Dean" link right here or at the bottom or top of this page. If you're skeptical about me that's okay, my goal is to earn your trust. I realize that trust is earned, not given.
